What You Will Do

Be active and engaged on Slack while fostering an engaging community
Commit to facilitating head, heart, or hustle sessions two nights a week for up to 3 hours (camera is required to be on while giving instruction)
Ensure your pod group completes 95% career readiness portfolio
Proactively problem-solving with co-captains
Attend and participate in paid training sessions
Attend captain meetings and check-ins with your PM

All employees must reside within commuting distance (approximately two hours) of a COOP Program site located in the following cities: Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Bay Area, and within the states of CA, CT, FL, IL, IN, NJ or NY.

Paid mandatory All-Captain training will kick off January 14th, for all Captains to participate remotely (unless confirmed otherwise), usually from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm local time. The finalized training schedule will be shared before training begins.

Week 1: 1/14, 1/15, 1/16, 1/17
Week 2: 1/21, 1/22, 1/23, 1/24
Week 3: 1/28, 1/29, 1/30

If selected to be a Captain will you be able to attend all mandatory captain training sessions?

FOR NYC AND BAY AREA CAPTAINS ONLY:

This upcoming Spring 2025 cycle, COOP will ask NYC and Bay Area captains to facilitate virtual programming and lead 4 in-person touchpoints (1 in-person touchpoint per month).

NYC's in-person touch points will be held at Civic Hall at Union Square, 124 E 14th St, New York, and the Bay Area's will be located at Swissnex, Pier 17 The Embarcadero Suite 800, San Francisco, CA.
